We are seeking a passionate and talented Brand Designer to join our creative team. As a Brand Designer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing brand identities, brand design systems, creating visual assets, and ensuring brand consistency across various channels and platforms. Your role will involve collaborating closely with clients, project managers, and monitor other designers to translate strategic goals into compelling visual solutions that resonate with target audiences. You must be able to adapt rapidly to create designs that will satisfy both clients’ goals, as well their own clientele.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their brand objectives, target audience, and design requirements.
- Develop and implement brand identities, including logo design, typography, color palettes, and brand guidelines throughout all media.
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and briefs.
- Create and manage a company’s visual brand identity/ Design system.
- Create visually stunning and effective design assets, such as packaging, print collateral, digital graphics, social media visuals, and website elements.
- Work with copywriters, marketing and creative director to produce final design.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and media, maintaining the identity of brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Design & test graphics across various media.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging design techniques, and best practices to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of our work.
- Present design concepts and rationale to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback and refining designs based on feedback.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, marketers, and developers, to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality work within budget constraints.
- Work with leadership team to develop innovative design solutions that are reflective of brand goals and culture.
- Create icons, charts, and infographics that effectively communicate key messages.
- Create/ produce detailed brand manuals and guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Masters degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication.
- Proven experience (6 – 7 years) working as a branding designer or in a similar role, preferably in an agency or design studio environment.
- Strong portfolio of work demonstrating creative thinking and executional excellence across a variety of mediums (print, digital)
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of branding projects, demonstrating expertise in logo design, typography, colour theory, and brand application.
- Proficient in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, layout, composition, and typography.
- Solid understanding of branding strategies, market trends, and consumer behaviour.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team, taking and providing constructive feedback.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to to work methodically and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- In depth knowledge of print and digital graphic design techniques, tools, and principles.
