The logo for “The Makers,” a real estate agency in Paris/France, was designed to communicate the core axes of the office such as innovation, craftsmanship, and meticulous design.
We drew inspiration from the company’s name itself, “The Makers,” and wanted the symbol itself to be “crafted” gradually from two or more shapes, visualizing the name in the best possible way.
The abstraction and the connotation of the shapes of the symbol formed the basis for the design, while at the same time, we wanted to bring design influences from the world of architectural design.
At the “heart” of the logo-symbol is a stylized typographic element “T,” which, with the insertion of the two individual vertical lines in their entirety, creates a lowercase “m.” With clear references to architectural plan views, the “m” symbol is “made” from the combination of “T” and the “m”, signifying the perfect blend of technology and expertise, reflecting the core values of the real estate agency.
The ability of the symbol “m” to morph (extend in height and width) in the various applications of the office’s identity completes, in a less decorative and deliberate manner, its identity.
The logo embodies the essence of the real estate agency, symbolizing the commitment to precision and innovation in property development and transactions. The combination of the letters “T” and “m” not only forms the basis of the identity but also represents the spirit of collaboration and expertise that has distinguished “The Makers” in the Paris real estate market.
