HUB Lighting & Innovation by Kafkas is a new business unit of the brand, a “light beacon” that complements its services and strengthens its relations with the architectural, interior design & lighting experts’ audience.

The goal of KAFKAS HUB is to become a reference point for architects, designers, technical companies, electricians, and individuals and to meet the needs of each project directly, providing a high level of services, products & solutions.

The main audience of the website is the architects that are interested in all the latest technologies and trends, regarding lighting and other automation of building facilities. The basic concept of the page was the light itself and its ability to refract, create shadows, illuminate darkness, or change color depending on different circumstances.

So, the forms, UI elements, and actions, correspond with a light reference, sometimes in the form of a shadow, with a change of color, or with partial lighting of the photographic content in such a way that they always highlight the content.

Such a website that contains a lot of information, needs careful content management and attention to its architecture.

Initially, we had to set up the basic structure and the main user journey, followed by the overall design and aesthetics based on the target audience that the company appeals to. Large volumes, play with typography and its sizes, an extended book your visit modal, and several contrasts make the website pleasant to use with the necessary surprise at points during its navigation.

The entire content architecture was based on a components-based website CMS, which was extremely important for the client, allowing them to “build” pages with content according to their seasonal or promotional needs.

Finally, great attention was given to the responsiveness of the website, maintaining the main design values of the desktop version while aiming at a fast mobile performance.

THE ENTIRE CONTENT ARCHITECTURE WAS BASED

ON A COMPONENTS-BASED WEBSITE CMS, WHICH WAS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR THE CLIENT, ALLOWING THEM TO "BUILD" THE PAGES
