Demophorius Healthcare is a British company that operates in the field of manufacturing high quality medical products since 1996.

Kommigraphics’ cooperation with Demophorius Healthcare began a few years ago, by redesigning the company’s logo, which lead onto the design of the packaging of most of its products.

Part of the project was the packaging design of the examination gloves that Demophorius distributes throughout the world divided into 2 categories: Latex Powdered & Powdered Free.

Having to come up with a design that would be acceptable for a very rigid and uncreative industry, we had to approach the project with boldness, without sacrificing the functionality and without losing out on the message the products must communicate.

We mainly based our creative rational on finding a way to categorize the products by coding through the use of “X” and “+” symbols that can express the product category (Powdered or Powdered Free), as well as the presence of the product’s basic material (Latex).

We designed based on the essence of the product, while the surface of the box itself led us to all the relative design solutions – for the correct placement of all information per side, creating the basis for the design of the entire series and reinforcing its identity.
