Demophorius Healthcare is a British company that operates in the field of manufacturing high-quality medical products since 1996. Kommigraphics’ cooperation with Demophorius Healthcare began a few years ago, by redesigning the company’s logo, which lead onto the design of the packaging of most of its products.

The company realized that there’s a need to apply its new identity on its website so that a continuous look and feel is communicated throughout the market. The aim of the collaboration as from the beginning, was the production of bold and essential design, the immediacy of the information to the reader, and the difference beyond the stereotypical design norms of the medical field.

The renewed Demophorius Healthcare website is aimed at the hospital and medical units, therefore, our goal was to display the content in the best and most direct way and at the same time to create a sense of superiority over the competition through design perfection and overall user experience. The website had to communicate in an innovative way, both on desktop and mobile devices (tablets & mobiles), with its expertise and a sense of security and quality.

Having mentioned immediacy and innovation, the design of the website was based on the logic of widgets, as this way, we help the users to quickly search, read and locate the information that interests them. Under the Demophorius umbrella, one can find five different product categories, which are coded according to the corporate identity.

The use of ambient gradient per page and per category, helps the users to identify what they read, create the element of surprise that we seek as well as convey a more futuristic aesthetic that perfectly matches the values and vision of the company.

With an abstract mood and strong typographic contrast, we aim for pleasant reading. Through the micro-interactions that we have elaborated on in detail, we add value to the final deliverable and to the user experience across media. Finally, the 3D renderings of the products we designed, create a uniform and harmonious result on a corporate website with unusual content that can in some cases be seen as unattractive.
