- Collaborating closely with designers and frontend developers to deliver pixel-perfect websites
- Custom Plugin Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins to extend the functionality of our clients’ websites.
- Theme Development: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate custom themes and ensure seamless functionality.
- Database Management: Optimize and maintain MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
- API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect WordPress with external services and applications.
- Performance Optimization: Implement best practices for site performance, scalability, and security.
- Code Reviews and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, ensuring high coding standards and best practices.
- Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex issues and bugs promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and front-end developers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within scope.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of backend development experience with a strong focus on WordPress.
- Proficiency in PHP: Expert-level knowledge of PHP and its application within the WordPress ecosystem.
- Database Skills: Advanced knowledge of MySQL, including query optimization and database design.
- API Development: Proven experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.
